The Smell of Tree

The fir balsam note is so spot-on it genuinely smells like I just snapped a branch off a tree. I dabbed a bit on my scarf this morning and the clove warmth lingers beautifully without ever turning sweet. It’s my new go-to for cozy winter days.

I sprayed it on before a rainy walk and for a few hours it genuinely felt like I was standing under a dense canopy of firs. That clove note keeps it from being just another pine-scented candle, and the green pine keeps things fresh instead of syrupy.

The Siberian pine needle note hits first thing, sharp and resinous, then the fir balsam smooths it into something almost cozy. Clove keeps it from being too sweet, and it lasts a solid six hours on my skin without turning powdery. Exactly the walk-in-the-woods feeling I wanted.
